Women's Workshop Offers Hunting, Fishing and Outdoor Skills

Washington Outdoor Women (WOW), is conducting their annual workshop on September 13-15. The weekend workshop costs $250
Okanogan Highlands Outfitters
and covers sessions from experts and certified instructors led by the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife. 20 different classes covering archery,fishing, big-game hunting, survival skills, starting a hunting dog, tracking, map and compass reading and more throughout the weekend. 

The workshop fee includes lodging, meals and all necessary equipment. Staff members from Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife volunteer their time to help women reconnect with the outdoors. Women participating must be at least 18 years old and have a current Washington recreational fishing license to participate in the fishing and fly-fishing sessions.
